LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE PROGRAM
Maximise your personal potential

About the Program
The Leadership Challenge Program (LCP) is a fast-paced, challenging program that immerses participants in a simulated business environment where teams deal with leadership dilemmas on the way to building a successful, high-performing business.

The LCP allows participants to assess the effectiveness of their current approach to leading, and test different ways of responding to business challenges in a safe and engaging environment.

The program focuses on the strategies and approaches executives can adopt in response to dynamic, shifting business situations shaped by emerging strategic issues.

Target Group
The LCP is especially suited to executives who have recently moved into new and more challenging positions where the emphasis is more on leadership than management.

What participants say about the LCP
“Excellent Simulation gave me a really positive experience. How can it be improved - I don’t think it can!”
“What really worked were the real-life situations in the Simulation. They really tested my assumptions and concepts, and my capacity to think on my feet!”
“I will really be able to apply what I have learnt back in the workplace and have an impact on the way my organisation develops and deploys strategy.”

Program activities
In the LCP, participants ‘test drive’ their leadership capabilities. They work on identifying and developing the suite of skills necessary to deliver business success in a turbulent and rapidly changing environment.

Participants work together in teams of 6 as members of a hypothetical organisation with world class potential. They face difficulties and tests as they drive their organisation’s response to change in a series of intriguing challenges.

The LCP includes a purpose-designed diagnostic that provides feedback to participants on their personal leadership style, and opportunities for improvement.

The two-day timeframe works to keep the program fast and dynamic, so as to simulate the pressure experienced in critical leadership positions, and to test participants’ capability for clear thinking and effective team work.

Return on Investment
For the organisation, the ROI includes:
leaders with a highly-developed sense of how to deal with complex, dynamic and rapidly-shifting business situations;
improved capacity for problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making;
stronger awareness of the range of strategies available in difficult ethical situations;
better strategic awareness of the impact of local decisions on the whole business.

Aims and benefits
The LCP helps participants learn more about their own personal practice as a leader, their interpersonal strengths, decision-making and negotiating skills, plus their capacity to deal in complex ethical situations.
